East Carolina University celebrated its centennial several years ago in 2007. The Ledonia Wright Cultural Center, formally the Afro-American Cultural Center was founded in 1975 and has been an important campus and community resource for over 40 years. Our vision is vast and our ambitions are great. Your support can help us realize the full potential of this office on campus. Gifts to the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center would to continue to support our scholarships as well as other initiatives to enrich the students of ECU in their development of personal identity and becoming global citizens. Furthermore, the Ledonia Wright Priority Fund supports professional development through attendance at national conferences focused on student leadership and social justice topics. Every gift signifies another voice in support of full equality and equity for the underrepresented students of ECU.
